Along with creative writing classes (see below for details) and journalism* Camden carers have recently been branching out into art and craft. Monthy sessions have been held since Autumn 2011 and we plan to run them fortnightly from April. (Opposite and below are examples of 'Camden crafty carers' work.)
If you would like to get involved, please phone the main office on 020 7428 8950 and ask for more details.
Creative Writing, January-March 2012
Following on from our popular creative writing classes at CCC we developed a new venture with the Community Learning Manager at Bishopsgate Institute in the City of London.
Between mid January and late February the Institute is hosting a weekly creative writing course for us. Materials from the Institute’s archive are used to stimulate discussion and writing exercises, with both poetry and prose explored and themes developed.
Watch this space for samples of our writers' creativity!
