Art therapy for carers
Art therapy can help increase a carer's ability to socialise and make new relationships. Through sharing experiences, either in a group or individually, carers can feel less alone.
The overall aim is to effect change and growth on a personal level, through image making, in a private and confidential environment. It's a three- way process, focusing on the use of art materials and the relationship between the therapist and the carer.
If you are interested in trying art therapy, please ring Allegra Lynch at the Camden Carers Centre office on 020 7428 8967.
